My friends and I were out on the streets in Kadikoy (forgive my lack of proper Turkish letters) until we had to catch a cab back to our rooms, and it was FANTASTIC. I'm in Istanbul! I have the windows open in my room and I can hear the call to prayer from a nearby mosque. The sound is slightly reminiscent of the karaoke from the nearby bar back at home, only like eleven gazillion times cooler.
